Who We Are

McOuat & Associates LLC is a certified public accounting and business consulting firm founded by Gordon McOuat. Gorden started practice with Ernst & Whinney in Indiana where he was assigned to both the audit and tax departments. He then moved to California and worked primarily for John F. Forbes & Company as Senior Tax Manager before founding McOuat & Regalia in 1987 in Palo Alto, California. Gordon and his partners grew this organization into a firm with four offices. The growth was entirely due to referrals. No other firms were bought and there were no mergers. He then left the firm in 1996 in order to raise his children in Indiana.
